| Introduction | About 5 years ago I got the idea in my head of doing a road trip from Alaska to Argentina. Unfortunately... or fortunately, at the time I was a competitive skiier on the Canadian National team. At the end of April 2010 I decided after much deliberation to retire from competitive sport and right away set my sights on this trip. Lucky for me, I have an incredible boyfriend that wanted to take a hiatus from his job of being a kick ass ski coach in the Bow Valley and accompany me on this adventure. There is no real reason for this trip, other than to 'check shit out' and expand our knowledge of the world... and simply for the love of travel. These are our stories of the preparation and the journey. I hope you enjoy! |
