Interests	Ruben Marino aka Rubén Mariño- I am a baseball fan and I support the best team by far, Leones del Caracas!. I consider this to be my main hobbie. I have watched it on tv, I have read books about it, I have collected baseball cards, and of course, I have been in baseball stadiums (many times). Few pounds ago (I have gained weight) I used to practice any sort of sports. I rather walk these days. I like any class of reading including science and technology, thrilling books, etc… open to any kind of food, and I also like cooking specially spiced food…an ideal night out for me it would included some dancing, although I do not consider to be a magnificent dance particularly since I tried salsa casino... I like playing chess from time to time (funnier than you would imagine, not boring at all) but what I really enjoy is meeting with friends, talking interesting topics, generally with a drink on my hand (a bottle to be more specific) ... Not to mention playing golf (more in the past when living in Scotland), and video games. Finally I do like writing. Fanático del baseball (El mejor equipo, Leones del Caracas). Esto sería como mi hobbie principal (en TV, leyendo reseñas en libros, barajitas, y por supuesto ir a verlo en vivo). Hace unos cuantos kilos hacer cualquier tipo de actividad física era mi habito, aunque estos días caminar es el reemplazo ideal. etc. Disfrutar de una buena película en cine o en casa...cocinar algo especial, amante de la buena comida en particular comida picante... salir a bailar aunque no me considero el mejor sobre todo desde que conocí la Salsa Cubana... sin que suene aburrido, jugar ajedrez de vez en cuando... pero lo que en realidad disfruto mas es estar hablando "paja" con personas\ amigos (que no tiene por qué ser interesante) pero con una copa (botella regularmente) en la mano las cosas siempre toman un mejor camino... Jugar golf (mas en el pasado cuando vivia en Escocia) y video juegos. Por último, me gusta escribir.
Favorite movies	Se puede decir que tengo un track record viendo películas, especialmente en los últimos cinco años... Hasta hace poco Forrest Gump sería la mejor película Americana/ Internacional que había visto... y digamos que Macho y Hembra en el cine nacional por aquello de no herir a nacionalistas..."ironía"... pero es muy difícil hacer una lista especialmente por la cantidad de títulos que he olvidado... claro, siempre trato de rescatar algo de cada una que mas adelante me recuerde de la genialidad del escritor, director, etc... Kill Bill, perdón, y mas recientemente el Lobo de Wall Street.la tenia que nombrar!!... Enjoying watching a good film either at home or at the cinema would be at the top of my list for fun. I have a track record attending to the cinemas in the last five years... until few years ago Forrest Gump was my favority hollywood type of film... and the best film from the Venezuelan film industry I would say Macho y Hembra, irony…but to be honest is rather difficult to make a list of titles since I have forgotten so many names after watching so many films through the years… it´s important to mention that I always try to remember any interesting fact about the film, easier said than done.. although there are films that you will always remember, for instance Kill Bill and more recently The Wolf of Wall Street.
Favorite music	También me gusta escuchar música de diferentes géneros. Misma situación que la explicada arriba, con la diferencia que voy a empezar por los latinos. Como cantante Rubén Blades estaría en el tope en mi conteo por su agudeza, critica y por la facilidad que explica situaciones diarias en sus temas... no quiero decir con esto que no me guste Chilanga Banda de Café Tacuba.... Soda Stereo, Los Amigos Invisibles, Caramelos de Cianuro, LaFleur, etc… Favoritos en música en inglés incluye clásicos como Queen, Guns and Roses, The Beatles, Nirvana, etc… I also like listening any kind of music, from salsa to classic music (including reggaeton, not a great dancer though) … my favorite salsa singer is Ruben Blades for the accuracy of his lyrics, and for his capacity of bringing to music everyday life situations within a latin rhythm… having said that, it does not mean I do not like Café Tacuba´s chilanga banda.. I also like Soda Stereo, Caramelos de Cianuro, LaFleur, etc. and all time english classics like Queen, Guns and Roses, The Beatles, and Nirvana.
