| Introduction | I have been interested in photography since I was eleven years old when I got my first camera, a Box Brownie. I now use an Olympus OM-D mirrorless cmera and have most of my old cameras in a cabinet at home. As far as I know they all still work.

I was brought up in Derbyshire and worked as a Computer Programmer in Surrey, London, Altrincham and Milton Keynes before retiring to France in 2003. We returned to the UK in 2010 and I live with my wife, Lyn, and dog, Button, in North Staffordshire on the edge of the Peak District National Park. |
