Recently, she completed the Karen Pryor Academy's Dog Trainer Comprehesive Course. A second rescue dog, a sweet Doberman, now named Kenobi is in training to become a therapy dog, too. Tracey lives on a small hobby farm with her family. Because of her life long deep love for animals, she has done various kinds of rescue work - volunteering with Best Friends Animal Society rescuing & caring for Hurricane Katrina animals, volunteering at a local humane society during statewide flooding in 2008, and was a licensed wildlife rehabilitator, with the DNR, specializing in squirrels. Tracey has loved writing poetry & short stories since childhood. Currently, she is working on an epistolary novel.
