| Introduction | Broadway Knights Theatre Academy began as a drama club in Georgetown Middle School's 21st Century Schools in the fall of 2009. Our club first performed several vignettes at the Holiday Concert in December 2009. Our first full-length play, "Reduced Seuss: A Nod to the Shakespeare of Silliness," a musical written in-house, was presented in May 2010. Our second play, "The Envelope" was performed in December 2010. The academy is dedicated to educating young people in all phases of theater: acting, dance, writing, set design, costuming, make up. audio-visual techniques,and lighting. |
