| Introduction | Following studies in fashion design at the School of Fashion Cholet and Lille, France, Helene and Gaëlle have both studied textile printing and graphics, at the same school, in Lille in 2003. That's where their friendship was born. Since then each has followed her own path. Gaelle worked for the French company, working for brands including Auchan and Carrefour in the textile field. Helene work for fashion brands including Komodo and Jodi Arden. They then met again when they both work for Texdecor as designers for Casadeco and Caselio from 2004 to June 2009. Because of a love of Asia, Hélène came to live in Siem Reap, Cambodia in january 2009, Gaelle joined a few months later and then they created Mitsou in October 2010. Their first, thirty piece, collection of clothing was created in March 2011. Their world is fresh and full of poetry. |
