Introduction	I was born and raised in Carlsbad, NM. I graduated from CHS in 1970. I received my BA from NMSU in 1976. I married in 1979 and had 2 wonderful sons, Sean and Trent. I began teaching in 1985 at the Junior High here in Carlsbad. In 1991, I received my Master's Degree in Education Administration from ENMU. I mostly taught junior high English, History, and Civics for 25 years. Besides the junior high, I taught at the Alternative School, and Night School. I loved teaching and I loved the students. But now I'm beginning a new journey, retirement. I hope this next chapter of my life will be as interesting as the rest. I love to read, write, argue, play bridge, travel, garden, and cook. I will be keeping myself busy. The best is yet to come.
