| Introduction | One of my favorite quotes by Walt Whitman issues the challenge to "re-examine all you have been told in school or church or in any book, and dismiss whatever insults your own soul." This essentially sums up what I strive for as a writer, editor, podcaster, and generally curious human. I've come to realize life is beautiful and tragic, and I intend to enjoy every moment of it. Speaking the Spanish makes me happy. I am fortunate to have a great family and awesome friends. My husband Arthur and I have been married for almost five years now somehow, proving time has wings. Together, we're team Sweeney-Lawson. Our newest team member is our awesome daughter. We enjoy traveling, spontaneous adventures, games of all kinds, and all the foods. |
