Introduction	This is part of my Texas government class and it's my first attempt to create a blog of any kind. I was born in Texas and I'm eager to learn more about my home state by discussing and studying this topic. I aim to live as an active and knowledgeable citizen who can influence others to live the same way. My views are strongly conservative and I enjoy promoting them along with my country. In the last two elections I've had the opportunity to vote, but that is the extent of my involvement in government issues thus far. So that's the down low on myself. I hope you enjoy "talking Texan."
