Wealth - Poverty: The Growing Divide

Introduction	This blog is about the growing divide between those who live in luxury and those who do not. I study at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California to prepare for vocational parish ministry. Pasadena Mennonite Church is my church home. Daily I ask questions about the legitimacy of celebrating beauty and creating art in a world where most inhabitants struggle for mere existence. How does our call to design in partnership with God merge with the plight of the poor? When is enough truly enough for those of us who are always wanting more? Where is God in this conversation? Oh yeah, Tyler, my husband will soon begin work on his dissertation as he works toward a Ph.D. in Hebrew Bible. Our daughter Livia will be two in July, and Jude is my little four month old tater-tot. And my family is a bit concerned (not really) that I scored a 100% Liberal/Mainline Christian on the beliefnet.com quiz, "what's your faith?"
