Location Montpelier or Mount Vernon, OH, United States
Introduction I've lived in the same small town of Montpelier, OH my whole life. I grew up in a small congregation called the Montpelier Church of the Nazarene. I am a Super Senior at Mount Vernon Nazarene University majoring in Pastoral Ministry. I have a younger sister and a mom and dad. Some of my favorite pastimes include watching movies, playing/listening to music, discussing a mulititude of topics. I'm weird in the fact that I enjoy going to chapel and pretty much anything where the body of Christ is present. Like I said I'm in college so I'm learning a lot of new things that are changing the way I veiw myself, the church, and the world.
Interests I love to read, watch movies especially old ones, play guitar and harmonica, video games occasionally and a bunch of other things.
Favorite Movies I love movies. watching movies is my favorite pastime. There are too many to name, but here are a few that I can think of off the top of my head: Stranger than Fiction, Arsenic and Old Lace, Gunga Din, Citizen Kane, The Bells of St. Mary's, It's a Wonderful Life, School of Rock, The Star Wars flicks, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, On the Waterfront, A Streetcar Named Desire, The Philadelphia Story, Bringing up Baby, Judgement at Nuremburg, Evan Almighty, Emperor's New Groove, Seven Days in May, The Lion in Winter(1968), . There's a ton more, but I don't have time to type them all.
Favorite Music I listen to a wide variety of music (I know everyone says that). I love the Beatles and other classic rock, I also like folk rock such as Mumford and Sons and The Avett Brothers. I also like quasi-Christian bands like Welcome Wagon and Sufjan Stevens.
Favorite Books The Robe by Lloyd C Douglas, Anything by C.S. Lewis, but especially Mere Christianity and The Screwtape Letters, Ivanhoe by Sir Walter Scott, The Black Arrow by Robert Louis Stevenson, Surprised By Hope by N.T. Wright. Resurrection by Tolstoy
