| Introduction | I was born in 1947, the eleventh of fourteen children. I've been a teacher in four countries, police officer, lathe jockey, bus driver and low-level manager of a technical institute. Once while out deerhunting, I idly threw a stone in the direction of a blue duck. It hit him on the head! He drifted upside down through a number of rapids, then bobbed up, shook his head, and carried on swimming. A lesson in there somewhere. All photos by me unless acknowledged. No good saying "please respect my work and don't reproduce these images without permission," because it's not work, it's play - and I'd steal yours anyway! |
