| Introduction | Well, I'm me. I am, as clearly stated in the title of this blog, a Renaissance girl, by which I mean I would have thrived several hundred years ago, when it was expected for a young woman to be moderately accomplished at many things but life rarely required her to make a living with any of them. However, as it is not several hundred years ago but 2012, I may not exactly thrive to the same degree, but I do alright. I am primarily a struggling novelist (aren't we all?), married to an aspiring musician. Thus we suit each other very well. At the age of seventeen, after a bout with Hodgkins disease (a cancer of the lymph system, for those who don't know) I decided that (cliche or not) life is short... So I skipped college to follow my dream of becoming a writer, which may seem backwards to some, but there it is. On the side I dance (ballet) and sew ballet costumes and random other items of clothing. |
