Introduction	Howdy fellow gardening Junkies/plant addicts, welcome to my blog. Now a little info about myself. I have been gardening for about 18 years, yes since I was 8 years old, when my mom bought me some Marigold seeds. I have been hooked ever since. I especially enjoy growing unique plants, hardy tropicals, and succulents. I am a little bit eccentric when it comes to gardening, growing tropicals in USDA zone 6b, such as palms, bananas, elephant ears, and many others in my southern Illinois garden.
