| Introduction | I am a CFI and A&P with IA and (for the present) hold a "Designated Airworthiness Representative" authority,(DAR-T) in other words, a proffessional "wingnut". I love airplanes, and I love teaching people how to fly them. My students will confirm my passion for teaching. I earned my private licence in 1974, and my CFI in 1984. I have had experiance flying in Europe, Mexico, Canada as well as all over the good old USA! With over 2900 total hour, and nearly 1500 hr. instructing, this is not just a hobby, it's life. I also boast over 40 years of hard core aviation maintenance experiance, working on everything from sophisticated military tactical jets to classic antiques. I have held a DAR-T for the past three years. In 1992 I started Mountain Hawk Aviation. We went "dormant" for a few years, but now Mountain Hawk is back, and ready to rock-and-roll! |
