| Introduction | Our son Dominic was diagnosed with Infantile Spasms (IS), a catastrophic seizure disorder, at 2 months old. Since then he has been through quite a journey battling intractable epilepsy and recently had surgery to remove half his brain (hemispherectomy) in hopes of controlling his seizures. This blog is dedicated to Dominic - his life, his story and the struggles that life with epilepsy brings. |
