IntroductionI am a former special education teacher, now on permanent disability. This 'tragedy' has allowed me the blessing of time and opportunity to devote myself entirely to my Lord and to give my life over to a full time pursuit of a life lived in accordance with a personal Holy Rule in the lay state within the Catholic Church containing a strong element of the ancient Orthodox Celtic Church spirituality. I was baptised into the Catholic faith at age 33. I have two adult children. I am now exploring the eremetical life in Christ. I am a consecrated member of St Maximillian Kolbe's Militia Immaculata and am one of his Knights at the Foot of the Cross. I am also a member of the Apostleship of Prayer movement and a prayer warrior on the Catholic Answers forum. The 'Anawim' is Hebrew for the poor, the afflicted, the meek; 'Ani' is the singular form. I am affiliated with the White-Robed Monks of St Benedict. I suffer from myalgic encephelomyelitis (ME), chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), fibromyalgia (FM) and many other disabling medical conditions.
