| Introduction | i feel young. i probably still am. i have lived a full life. God has given me to a sweet and gentle man and entrusted us with two wonderful children. i like to surround myself with old things that carry sentiment and stories. like lace gloves and baseball gloves and faded books and hand-me-down clothes. i love simple, natural things like wildflowers and thistles and unshaven faces and berries and trees and bonfires and baths. i love autumn. i love Victorian Christmases. i love Jesus. i know very little of all there is to know about Him, but i am learning more everyday and am trying to resemble in Him in how I live my life. I am learning that less is more and the Kingdom of God belongs to the poor and they are my neighbors and family. and I want to live each day breathing life deeply and doing small things for other with great love. |
