| Introduction | I own a small farm that I share with my daughter and my niece. We've had alpacas, pygora goats, cashmere goats, great pyrenees to watch out for all of us, a frisky border collie mix to make sure we all do what we are supposed to be doing, my daughter's noisy chihuahua who thinks she's boss and seven kitties who truly think they own this place. The two cashmere goats were sold to a wonderful farm in Cheney WA, and are doing beautifully. Faith just had two adorable kids this spring. We broke down this spring and bought 3 little chickens that we will put outside as soon as it warms up. No roosters this time so no more 3am wake up calls. Also three more cashmere goats again, but wethers this time. We were also a foster family for baby kittens for several years, usually without a mom. I spin, weave, dye fiber and once in a while I knit. Years ago I started with crochet and quilt making, went on to crewel work, tatting (which I never could do very well), sewing and felt making. A master of none for sure. We grow, eat and dry our own vegetables and fruit from our orchard. Busy is our name! |
