| Introduction | What makes me so qualified to blog about money? Well, first off, here are my sheepskin credentials: I have a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration with an option in Finance (money). I also have a law degree with a concentration in Taxation (how the government officially relieves you of money). Plus, I am a consumer bankruptcy attorney, so you could say I am a forensic expert on financial failure. I have been running my own business for 7 years; I have been working since I was 13 and therefore managing my own meager piles of money for a long time. I’ve made money mistakes and also some good investments and I am willing to share about it all. Willing to share doesn’t express my need strongly enough. I work with people who have money woes. I love to help them solve their problems but very often I’ve noticed much could have been prevented with a financial education, which isn’t something that is part of the required high school curriculum in my state. For years, I’ve dreamed about writing a book or teaching this class but I’ve been kept very busy by my law practice. I think blogging about this subject is best way to start spreading the word about money. |
