| Introduction | My name is Fr. Steve Giuliano. I grew up in the Philadelphia area and, after completing my studies at St. Charles Seminary there, was ordained a Roman Catholic priest in 1980. I served in various parishes in the Philadelphia area, and moved to the DelMarVa peninsula in 1991. After ministering to Migrant Farmworkers and the Spanish-speaking community for a number of years, I was assigned to several parishes in the Diocese of Wilmington. I was blessed to be the pastor of St. Joseph Parish in Middletown, Delaware for 10 years. From June of 2012 until June 2016 I served as Pastor of St. Peter the Apostle Parish in New Castle, Delaware. Because I am also a member of the Focolare Movement, (the Work of Mary, whose members strive to live a Spirituality of Communion), in 2016 I was asked to work at the center of the Focolare in Rome, Italy. After serving there for 2 years, I returned to my diocese and was pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Seaford, Delaware. In June of 2024 I retired and am now living the good life at my home in New Castle, Delaware. |
