Introduction I am an educator who has worked in a variety of fields, some literally. I am certified in food safety, and focus on garden, nutrition, alternative organic methods and products as well as consumer education. I have taught, directed programs and created curriculums from Boston to Baltimore County School Districts - Establishing school gardens and designing Language Arts curriculum. In past lives, I've worked for Plays and Players Community Theater in Old City, Philadelphia designing integrated arts programming, directing children's theater and creating costumes. For the Community Alliance Bridging Autism, I designed therapeutic, targeted, emergent curriculum for students with Asperger's Syndrome and other Spectrum Disorders. I keep my own garden of herbs and veggies which I preserve using methods such as pressure canning and dehydration. As a Master Gardener, I lecture for the Speakers Bureau and am very passionate about spreading knowledge and know-how to ambitious urban homesteaders and families seeking healthier options with nutrition from Mother Nature.
