| Introduction | I am Colleen and this is my blog Day by Day Darling. I am a recent college graduate working in the field of political science in Washington state. When I am not putting in the hours at my day job I am spending tons of time with my boyfriend, Brady, and our sweet fur babe, Snickers. I am an avid reader, have a bad habit of baking excessively, and have an undying love for Jay Leno, lemons, scrabble and all things feminine. While I by no means consider myself all that fashionable, I do love to put together an outfit and believe that clothing is evidence of how a person feels. If I am having a lousy day, nothing turns it around quicker than a great outfit (and a cupcake). I am always looking for a new recipe, trend or DIY to take on and hope to document my adventures.
