| Introduction | I’m a thirty-something girl, trying to figure out her path in life. I have hip-length hair and a love for things ‘dark romantic’, which can often be seen by my choice in clothes. Learning, feeling surprised or mystified, inspiration, and being passionate about something are some of the things that make me feel happy. I like to search for beauty in this world, even when times are hard and life seems bleak. Sometimes I fail, other times I am able to cherish the good things and feel inspired. With this blog, I hope to keep track of some of those particular moments, experiences, and creative accomplishments. To remind myself, but (hopefully) also to occasionally inspire others. I'm a lover of history, archaeology and cultural heritage. But despite having the required academic background, it is difficult to find a job at this moment. Since 2012, I work in an art museum in the Netherlands. One of my deepest wishes however is to be involved with history or archaeology again in the future. Main themes: beauty, health, culture. Much discussed topics: IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome), long hair care, organic/fairtrade, sewing, living low-budget, movies, books, geek stuff. |
