Introduction Have you ever wondered about what school is really like in 2010? Have you wondered about what's wrong with the schools or, for that matter. what's right about them? Have you been getting your information about our Jefferson County Public Schools from television, radio, newsprint, or JCPS itself? If any of the above applies to you, then you might like hearing - more accurately reading - about what life is like on the front lines; in the schools, in the halls, in the classrooms. You might like to know about the little things your child doesn't share with you about their day, like, who they bullied, or who they were bullied by, why they don't have textbooks to bring home, or how the same kids get away with misbehaving time and time again. You might want to know more about what teachers really think about their schools and their students, and why teachers often feel like fodder. And then you might like to know what it's like to be an administrator; being Principal isn't all it use to be. So here we'll report on the day to day life of being in a JCPS school. With avarice to none, but by uncovering all, these accounts are a diary of daily public school life in 2010.
