Introduction	Known throughout my life as the one who is always smiling, I am a down to earth person who was born in India and raised in the US. What I realize and say best now, is that I have been very lucky to have had the "best of both worlds"; as my Culture played a major role in my upbringing and the environment and opportunities provided in the US have led me to where I am today, with my head held high and feet on the ground. A middle daughter, an epilepsy survivor, a Journalist, a passionate cook and lover of elephants; I have learned to live for today and keep my smile wide, even with the wrinkles coming;)
