| Introduction | I've been working in my garden for over forty years but every year I learn or maybe relearn so much. Mother nature seems to reluctantly reveal her secrets. My compost pile is a testimony to my many failures but another seed or plant catches my eye and I am eager to try again. My principle garden interests have changed over the years; roses, vegetables, bulbs, flowering shrubs and now cut flowers. The garden at my home and at church supply cut flowers for fresh floral arrangements every week. I also garden to keep my sanity; digging and pulling weeds eases daily frustrations. This blog is intended as a diary to capture the flowering beauty of the garden throughout the seasons. |
