| Introduction | On July 3, 2013, everything in my world changed in an instant, when I lost my amazing husband, Rod Cook (known as "Bunky" to me) after a sudden cardiac arrest. We were weeks away from our 15th anniversary. I am blessed to have had those years with him, yet a huge piece of my heart will forever be wounded. I am mommy to 3 boys- Carson, Colby, and Cooper. They are constant reminders of the love Bunky and I shared, and are what keep me going on most days. I am thankful for my relationship with Jesus Christ and trust HIS plan. I don't understand the "why's", but I know HE is good and has allowed this tragedy to be a part of our story for a reason. I have HOPE because of what Jesus did on the cross. It is only because of that hope that I can face the next day in front of me. I love Sonic Diet vanilla coke, hanging out with girlfriends, and most of all I love snuggling with my 3 boys. I have 2 Master's degrees and use neither of them…being a mom is the most rewarding, and at times, challenging thing I have ever done. I love it!
