Introduction	Born in Toronto and raised in Peterborough, Ontario. A small town girl with big city sensibilities. Fifty percent Chinese, fifty percent English, one hundred percent Canadian. I love to cook, bake and eat. Now I love to garden. My dream: to be an urban farmer with a market garden and backyard chickens. I wait tables and write, but I'd love to be a full-time writer, a chef, restaurateur or baker. I live with my boyfriend Roland, owner/operator of St. Veronus Cafe and Taproom in Peterborough, and cat, Ruby. I have a degree from Trent University and a diploma from Centennial College. I miss playing the piano and living in a bigger city, but I love my town, my friends and my backyard.
