| Introduction | After 16 months of seemingly endless unemployment, according to my business cards I am now working as an Administrative Professional. I love what I do because I feel like I'm helping people just a little bit each day. I'm heading into my third year of marriage though I've known my husband since I was 15. That means 23 years have passed since we first met and dated. It seems like a lifetime ago but when I think of my life, in many ways it feels like my life didn't even begin until I reconnected with my husband and married him. So much has happened since then (good and bad) but I'm hopeful for many more years of happiness, challenges, and laughs together. I do know I'll have few times where I can be alone in the bathroom, I'll spend hours folding other people's underwear, and I will have many more moments of finding something in my house and wondering "WHAT is that?" while looking at the dog/kids/husband. That is my life today and for better or for worse - it's a pretty great life. It's the one I have and I cherish it. |
| Interests | Former Life: Spending time with friends and family, running, spoiling my dog, reading, tv, and looking for new adventures!Married Life: laundry, wiping butts, chasing dogs/kids/husband, cleaning up after dogs/kids/husband, and wishing for a minute to myself (hopefully when I go pee). |
| Favorite movies | Brat Pack movies, family centric movies: Soul Food, The Family Stone, Christmas Vacation, and ACTION! movies: Blackhawk Down, The Band of Brothers series, and Spy/Espionage/Thriller/Myseries: The Departed, Gone Baby Gone |
| Favorite music | Hard rock - always but appreciate so much more. Oldies, Motown, Top 40 that my step-daughters adore, and talk radio. |
| Favorite books | I don't have the time or attention span to read anymore. This makes me sad. Now, if I have a few minutes I might take a nap. Or fold laundry. Always the laundry... |
