Interests baseball history, science, politics, literature, music
Favorite Movies Birdman of Alcatraz, It's a Wonderful Life (anything with Jimmy Stewart), To Kill a Mockingbird, Cider House Rules, Eight Men Out. Also love most things with Burt Lancaster and Gregory Peck, not to mention Gary Cooper, Olivia DeHavilland and Greer Garson. Love the old stuff, black & white Film Noir, Hitchcock, Sherlock Holmes, other dramas.
Favorite Music Classical. I'm into listening to the Beethoven piano sonatas right now, hoping to become thoroughly familiar with each of them. Am now through the first 16 out of 32. I will occasionally get into some bluegrass when the spirit moves me as I was a real bluegrass hound out of high school and through my thirties. Went through a country phase during the '90's.
Favorite Books Don Quixote, To Kill a Mockingbird, Cider House Rules, Grapes of Wrath, Pilgrim at Tinker Creek
