When the Sacramento Union recently closed its doors, award-winning artist, Greg Rico, started looking for a new outlet to express his creativity. Greg’s classical training in fine arts and illustration-combined with his penetrating political insight and sardonic sense of humor-naturally lent itself to the world of the cartoon. Greg’s extensive travels as the proud son of a Navy Purple-Heart Vet have helped to form his deep-rooted conservative values and sincere love of family. A man who loves a good meal and a great story, classic cars and all-things aviation, his many friends agree that no one loves a joke or a prank more than Greg. And as long as there are Republicans and Democrats in Washington making fools of themselves—Greg Rico will always have an excellent source of material.
