| Introduction | I'm a Zen-Heathen, at least I aspire to be a Zen-Heathen. I have the heathen part down, no problem. Maintaining Zen, on the other hand, is an endless battle. I'm a grown up trying to figure out what I am. My mother/best friend past away in October and she is the first thing I think about when I wake up and the last thing I think about when I go to sleep. I wish I could say I have happy dreams of her, but instead she occupies my slumber in nightmares where I am trying to save her but cannot, only to wake up to find she is still gone. In order to keep my hand and brain occupied, I have started making jewelry, writing, the house plants, quilling (go ahead, ask) and throwing myself full force into anything I feel might offer an outlet for emotion and intellect. Those are the two things I have in abundance; Feelings & Thoughts. |
