Introduction	Hi my name is Kay Schiefelbein and I've loved gardening from when I was a little tyke & would tag along after Dad in the vegie patch. Was first involved with Permaculture in Fremantle WA in 1990 however did my permaculture course after returning to Qld Janet Millington was my teacher (she is a gifted teacher) as well as Liz Hanson who is inspiring by the way she walks her talk & lives her life. I ran the Permaculture Noosa gardens at the Cooroy Butter Factory for about 3 years, learning & sharing with wonderful people who volunteered & worked in the gardens. Did a couple of years ar Woodford folk festival in the childrens festival as "Erma Culture" & had an abslolute ball creating living teepees & decorating them with the kids. I spent a year as president at the Yandina Community Gardens which is a fantastic venue & kept going by wonderful volunteers. I enjoyed 2 years of Permakids with Leonie Shanahan in the Perigian Beach Community Gardens which were just abuzz with amazing group of openhearted folks & it was such a pleasure to work with Leonie & the children. I just LOVE gardening & gardeners!
