About me

Introduction	I am excited to be a part of the Scottsdale United Methodist Preschool teaching staff. I was born in Omaha, Nebraska, but spent half my life here in Scottsdale, Arizona. I graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Sociology and Family Studies/Child Development. During my college years and immediately following graduation I worked and volunteered with various organizations, which focused on children and social issues. I later found myself in the Commercial Real Estate and Development field, where I excelled until becoming a mother of 2 great kids. I then made the life decision to leave the Commercial Real Estate field and focus on our family. I was an active Co-Op parent at the preschool for 3 years. This allowed me to utilize my educational background and training while spending quality time with my kids.
