Introduction	I received a PhD in Geography at West Virginia University (2011). I received a MA in History from St. John's University (1998), a BA in Geography from the University of Washington (1995), a BA in History from Western Washington University (1994), and an AA in General Studies from Seattle Central Community College (1992). I served Peace Corps Mauritania from 1999-2001 as a Small Enterprise Development volunteer.
