| Introduction | I am in transition, a widow of exactly five years in a new relationship, a mother of a terrific son, a sister with two great sisters. I am a published writer, an artist with my work on permanent display at a local college and in private collections, and a happy homemaker. I used to do civic volunteer work for decades. These days I am more likely to read Lee Child adventure novels in a chair in the garden, whip up low fat recipes, have friends over, take little car day trips, study spiritual ideas, and spend time with people I love. The transition, which involves selling my home of 23 years, includes a move, and tough decisions about whom I will keep in my life. Surround yourself with people who love you. You know what? Sometimes, that is hard to do! This blog will follow the new adventures of a spunky soul and her sweet companion in adventure. The lady and the cowboy (like the John Denver song) comes close! Make life fun! Grab every hour and do something new! |
