| Favorite books | Jane Austen's work (so what if it's a predictable choice--how many of YOU have a t-shirt that has "Mrs. Darcy" emblazoned across the front, huh?), The Collected Stories of Jean Stafford, a Pulitzer Prize winner from an author that, sadly, no one seems to remember, Nabokov, Calvin Trillin, especially the Tummy Trilogy and About Alice, the heartbreaking tribute/love letter to his late wife. Loads of other stuff depending upon my mood; (Hmm. Seems like the only "depends" that don't apply to my life--yet--are the ones worn on your bottom.) Actually, every time I read someone else's profile, I see a book that I think I should add to this list. Let's just say I love to read. |
