| Introduction | I am on the eternal quest to have fun being a parent. Along the way I hope to get better at it too. My first son was so easy that I thought it would be simple and even practical to have a second, since I already had all the stuff and clothes (assuming I had a boy which I did.) Wow! Was I ever wrong. Well, it is great but it is twice as hard. I hadn't taken into account the second would be so much different. He has his own personality! Who knew. So now I'm working hard as I learn how to be a SAHM and wondering how I raised the first with a full time job and no cleaning person. I still go by the belief that a clean house is overrated and germs are good so that's not going to change much. So to sum up, I have a husband, 2 sons, an old house under repair, and 2 grown step daughters that keep me informed of life in the cool world. |
