Ni Hao: China from a Native Speaker's Point of View

About me

Introduction	Since childhood, I have been interested in different languages and cultures. Even though I grew up in the United States and am a native speaker of English, my neighborhood was diverse and my family vacationed around the US as well as abroad. In college, I discovered a passion for writing and language, so it seemed natural to make that interest a career. I am currently in my last semester of a M.A. program in linguistics for teaching English to speakers of other languages, and I'll be starting a practicum in March. In the meantime, I am doing one of the things I like best: learning a different language and culture.
