Introduction	Hello, sorry it took me a few days to do this section, I just wasn't sure what to write. While this blog is about my journey and experiences battling cancer, I did not want to be defined by cancer. On that note, my passion in life, the thing that keeps me going everyday, is animals. Wild, domestic, even the mice that keep finding their way into my house. I have worked with wild wolves, coyotes, mountain lions and grizzly bears and spent the six years before my cancer diagnosis as the Cat World Manger for the Humane Society in my community. Orangutans, chimpanzees and wild cats absolutely fascinate me and I do all I can to help them in their plight to survive in an ever- changing environment. I am also an avid animal photographer and love to read. Thank you so much for joining me on this journey and I hope it can help others dealing with cancer.
