| Introduction | Welcome to my blog! Here I explore Artist-Signed Postcards through the lens of Art History. I am a Postcard Historian who specializes in Artist-Signed Postcards. Since October 2022, I have been a writer for Picture Postcard Collecting magazine. Like many others, I began with postcards that connected with my family tree research. But when I discovered Raphael Tuck Oilettes, everything changed. I found a place where all my passions came together-the world of Artist-Signed Postcards. During my first go-round at college, I studied Art History. Reluctantly, I had to withdraw from college when I was hospitalized after a serious injury. My career path changed, and I ended up with a Master's Degree in Social Work instead of Art History. When I began reading about postcards, I found that no one was interpreting artist-signed postcards through the lens of art history. This has become my niche. |
