Introduction	The Illinois Association for Gifted Children is an organization of parents, educators, and others committed to the education and development of children with diverse gifts and talents. We educate, support, and influence those who touch the lives of children and focus our energies to meet the needs of children with gifts and talents in Illinois. IAGC is an Affiliate of the National Association for Gifted Children. It is the vision of the Illinois Association for Gifted Children that giftedness and high potential in children are recognized, valued and supported to enable their maximum development. The Illinois Association for Gifted Children empowers educators, families and communities by advancing effective practices, programs and policies to promote the development of gifted and talented children throughout Illinois.
