| Introduction | I am a doctoral candidate in the Department of Art and Art History at Stanford University. From September 2013 I will be based in Addis Ababa conducting research. My research is supported by an Andrew W. Mellon Predoctoral Fellowship from the Center for Advanced Study in the Visual Arts, National Gallery of Art. |
