| Introduction | I am a writer and an artist and recently retired from my position as executive director of Georgia Writers Association, a nonprofit organization focused on writers which I co-founded in 1994. In December 2006, in keeping with my interests and history, I initiated In The Company of Writers. I am a creative and innovative person and I aspire to spiritual maturity. I am interested in and enjoy the natural world as well as things literary, artistic, musical and intellectual. I enjoy a garden of vegetables, herbs and flowers. I am a recycler. I love animals and share my home with many beautiful finches and four loving cats. My home and a healthy environment are important to me. I surround myself with works of art, easy comfort, beautiful colors, and great food; good friends and lovable pets are welcome in my world. I like the kitchen and am a good and innovative cook.
