Introduction	Grand Rapids is my hometown and I love it here. As a kid my mom would constantly supply my creativity with sewing machines, dye kits, paint, fabrics, beads, anything! Now I just find ways to incorporate these crafts into everything I do. I graduated with a BFA in Art with an emphasis in Metalsmithing. This is the career path I want to take, however, it's not an easy one. Being an artist means slowly working your way out into the world. There are no steady paychecks here. My only real reward is knowing that I can kick out some pretty neat stuff. I started this blog to keep track of everything that I do on any sort of creative level whether it's cooking, gardening, brewing, or actually making some real art. This journal is just a daily affirmation that I am on the right path in life and to never back down...because sometimes we forget why we do the things we love.
Interests	Beer/brewing, cooking (I really enjoy Asian and Indian cooking or just anything with tons of spice really!) sewing, metalwork, woodwork, gardening, canning, preserving, writing, and probably more but just can't think of right now.
