| Introduction | Pete has been competing in swimming since the age of 8 and in 2006 discovered the joy of swimming in open water, competing in some lake swims in the UK. The seed of swimming the channel has been present since vague memories of wathcing John Noakes attempt to swim the channel in a Blue Peter special. With the support of his Wife Lesley, children Brandon and Chloe this dream is becoming a reality. |
