Favorite movies	The Godfather, The Godfather II, The Third Man, The Quiet Man, Casablanca, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers (without reservation), The Marx Brothers, Charlie Chaplin, and lots of good and mediocre black and white movies.
Favorite music	Lots of different stuff like opera (especially Mozart (duh!), Rossini, Verdi, Puccini, even some others); Broadway music, but not much past around 1960; The Great American Songbook (yes, I listen to Jonathan Schwartz); Bach's gazillion pieces for every instrument and combination thereof; Beethoven's opus; Gilbert and Sullivan; The Beatles; Klezmer music; Italian and Spanish pop music (somewhat); German drinking songs (especially with Weissbier)and some sentimental German pop songs (like Lili Marlene); German Christmas Carols; Polish Christmas Carols; English Christmas Carols; Ukrainian dance music; Polish polkas (the older the better)...and did I mention Italian music of all sorts?
Favorite books	The Bible, Kristan Lavransdatter, The Master of Hestviken, Brideshead Revisited, The Rule of St. Benedict, historical works that aren't perverted by modernism or political correctness, various P.G Wodehouse, G.K Chesterton...and more.
