Introduction	I have been teaching for 30 years, and love it more now than I did when I started. I love the "light bulb" moment when a child understands something. I also enjoy working with our student interns and student teachers, and feel it is our responsibility to share all we can to help them. I am a recent Breast Cancer survivor, and it has brought about a new awareness of and thankfulness for the joy that life brings!!!!
Interests	new ideas for my classroom, reading, decorating, spending time with family and friends, Breast cancer awareness and pushing everyone I know to have a Mammogram!
Favorite books	mystery books, books by James Patterson, Mary Higgins Clark, Fern Michaels, etc.
