| Introduction | We are husband and wife, parents to Anna Katerina, and entrepreneurs based in Sugar Land, TX. We have a passion for living a purposeful life and are driven by a strong commitment to health, sustainability, and social justice. On May 11, 2008, our family pledged to a year of eating only locally grown food. Every ingredient in every meal had to come from no more than 100 miles from our home. Our goal is to shrink our ecological footprint and open a dialog about the impact that our food system has on the environment.
